It was worth Trusting you
It was a family setup at the restaurant for arranged marriage. Oh yeah, arranged marriage for me. Hahaha... Both the families were talking to each other. My mother was talking to her mother and was telling all my childhood secrets to her. Haha... seriously, mothers can do that. I was suffering from headache and it was really uncomfortable for me to sit there and smile for nothing.
But as you know, parents always complain if you will not smile in front of them because the other party may feel that you are not interested. The girl didn't come till now. She was somewhere inside. Even, I was not aware about the girl like what is her name, what she does and etc. It was a sudden plan and so I was already angry from my parents because I had some other plans for the night.
Finally time came and both the families agreed to call the girl outside. Her mother went and came with the girl. It was the first time when I saw her. And trust me, I got lost somewhere in the universe. I didn't know, what was happening around me. Who was saying what. She was wearing a orange and yellow salwar suit with chudidar. Her hairs were open. She used light makeup. She was wearing middle size earings. She came and sit in front of me. I was continuously seeing her, she was talking with my parents and smiling. I was lost in her smile. I didn't remember anything what was happening around me. Suddenly headache stopped and i felt something in my heart.
After some time, my sister tapped me and told me to go at other table in the other corner of the restaurant. I woke up from my dream and went there. I pulled the chair for her to sit. After we both settled at our places, there was only silence between us. Trust me I am the one talkative among friends but here I was looking dumb.
She broke the silence, and said Hi... I said Hi in response and it was the embarassing moment which just started for me. But I holded myself and tried to be normal. I started conversation.
Me: I am sorry, I forgot your name.
She: Its Ananya. You are Sumit, Right?
Me: Yes.
(After a bit silence...)
She: So what are your expectations?
Me: I don't have big expectations but I just want a girl who is understanding and can support me in every ups and downs.
She: Ok
Me: And you?
She: What?
Me: I mean what are your expectations?
She: I just need a boy with whom i can sit with my whole family after 50 years and can say to everyone that he is the best thing which happened to me till now.
(I was speechless and was wondering what to say)
Me: Ohh... Thats great.
I don't remember what we talked after that. That sentence of her was enough for me to think.
Tomorrow I will complete 50years of my marriage and I am gonna see in her eyes and will say...
"Thank you for giving me this dream. It was worth trusting you..."
